SESSION IV- U19 RCC TRAINING
The U19 Regional Club Championship (RCCs) will take place June 8th and June 9th at Brown University in Providence, RI
RCCs feature the best of the best from our region (New England). Each club invites their top athletes in each age group to compete at this intense and highly competitive tournament!
This is our last recruiting showcase we will attend in the 2024 Coastal season. RCCs has a large college presence and attendance to watch the best players out of New England compete.
Training will begin Tuesday April 23rd and end Thursday June 6th (full schedule below). The team will train two nights a week. The total training hours in Session IV- U19 RCC Training will be 28 hours. This time together over the next 7 weeks is crucial to prepare as a team to bring our best roster forward June 8 & 9. We will not only continue the stick and ball skills of individual players, but shift more focus onto the 11v11 strategy of the game. We will focus on the 11v11 structure, roles, positions, press, corner plays, outlet structure, circle play, and Coastal core principles of play to best prepare to compete against the toughest competition in our region. We are extremely excited about our high level of play in this U19 group this year. We believe we have a special opportunity to compete for placement in the top 3 teams in our region. We have a very strong and very competitive group. It's a pleasure to coach and it's a pleasure to watch this group of young ladies play so well together.
We will train as a larger group and two weeks prior to the tournament we will select and notify 18-20 roster spots for tournament weekend. The remaining spots will be named alternates.

Cost for Session IV- U19 RCC Training is $1,095 - Cost is broken up into 3 payments.
Payment 1 - $365 due April 26
Payment 2 - $365 due May 3
Payment 3 - $365 due May 24
RCCs is not an equal playing time tournament. The club is competing to win and be placed at the highest ranking.
There will be a separate link sent to those players with the tournament payment and details.
The USAFH Regional Club Championships schedule is not typically released until one week out from the event. Additional tournament details will be distributed as soon as we receive them.
***IMPORTANT***
USAFH Memberships: As soon as you accept your spot, please get your USAFH membership and affiliate with Coastal Field Hockey, it is crucial that these are completed as soon as possible. This is mandatory for all athletes to be eligible for competition, no exceptions are made. You must select Coastal Field Hockey as your club (affiliation) when signing up for your USAFH membership. If you are already a member please log in and confirm that you are affiliated with Coastal Field Hockey. If you have an existing USAFH membership but are affiliated with a different USAFH club, you will need to request a club transfer, an option that is available on your membership homepage.
