“More than an Athlete. Bigger than Sports.” unknownWe are super excited to announce our plan for the remainder of the season! Due to COVID-19 we have had to adjust our winter program. At this point we have made the decision to offer two 5 week sessions which will allow for players to practice with the team they were originally placed on at the October tryout. They will train together one a night a week for two hours. This will allow coaches to work with players in their teams according to skills, game IQ, experience and level of play. We are eager to work together for these two sessions because we are fast approaching the spring season which this year will feature plenty of opportunity for competition and tournaments. Once we have our winter sessions solidified we will be sending out more information regarding upcoming tournament details.
Club practices will begin Tuesday, February 23rd. (Schedule below) Each player will practice with the assigned team that they were placed on in November. If you have any questions in regards to where you were placed, please contact operations@coastalfieldhockey.com.
The Coastal Field Hockey Club is committed to maintaining safety for our players. Prior to the start of this session, we will send out a comprehensive COVID-19 safety plan for Coastal as well as facilities’ and the State of Maine/ CDC guidelines. All programs are subject to change based on changes in state guidelines.
U14/ U16 White Team - Practice Days will be Tuesday Nights at The MAC: February 23, March 2, 9, 16 & 23rd.
U16 Red/ U19 White Team - Practice Days will be Wednesday Nights at The MAC: February 24, March 3, 10, 17 & 24th.
U19 Red/ U19 Gold Team - Practice Days will be Thursday Nights at The Dome: February 25, March 4, 11, 18 & 25th.
* PLEASE NOTE, WEATHER CANCELLATIONS WILL BE POSTED VIA INSTAGRAM, EMAILED TO ENTIRE CLUB AND POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE at least 2 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR TRAINING SESSION.
Coastal Field Hockey programs are not rescheduled or refunded if a session is canceled due to inclement weather OR with COVID-19 close contact concerns as our field space is limited.
Payment for the first winter session, which begins on February 23rd, is due by wednesday, February 10th at 12:00pm. Roster spots that are not reserved will be offered to other players in the club.
